I waited so long for Wes Anderson's new movie Moonrise Kingdom to come out and I finally watched it last night. I absolutely loved it!
The film tells the story of Sam and Suzy, two school kids who fall madly in love with each other. Both of them are not very popular due to their short tempers. They decide to run away together. Suzy's family and Sam's Scout leader try their very best to find them but the two kids are too clever (and violent) to be captured.
Moonrise Kingdom is not only one of the sweetest love stories I've ever seen on film, it is also an amazing adventure story. Sam is an excellent scout and sets up a tent for the two of them and cooks self-caught fish for Suzy and her cat.
It wouldn't be a Wes Anderson movie without fantastic style. All the costumes are really great but my favorite is Suzy's run-away outfit. Instead of thinking practically, she wears a pink lace dress with a while collar, white knee high socks and her Sunday school shoes. Too adorable!
This film is absolutely perfect. Watch it, it'll warm your heart.

I cannot wait to watch this film! When I first saw the poster I stared at it for a full 10 minutes, the characters are so captivating, even on a photograph. :D
