Shopping for Friends

Exciting news! We launched our facebook page for our web series shopping for friends yesterday!
In the first 24 hours we got more than 150 likes which is absolutely incredible, we couldn't be more happy!
Shopping for friends is a web series about Liev (Lacey Haynes) and Tony (me), who in search of new friends, find each other and the awkwardness that goes along with meeting someone new.
Lacey and I co-created the show and had a wonderful crew film it. Of course we put a big focus on the style and all the costumes we wear are pretty fantastic, I have to say. We borrowed a lot of clothes from local shops and vintage stores and I am quite excited about how the costumes turned out.
In previous posts I've had some questions of what a web series is, so here is the answer: A web series is like TV show but the episodes are (usually) much shorter and screened online. Simple!

If SFF sounds interesting to you we would be so happy if you like our facebook page! Thank you :)

Don't judge a DVD by its Director

My friend Jon Amar and I recorded another little scene. We are having a blast making these. Might move on to different characters after this though. Maybe try out a new genre or something. Do you guys have any fun ideas for scenes with 2 people?  We are up for filming any kind of nonsense so suggestions are welcome.

Have a lovely weekend everybody!

Moonrise Kingdom

I waited so long for Wes Anderson's new movie Moonrise Kingdom to come out and I finally watched it last night. I absolutely loved it!
The film tells the story of Sam and Suzy, two school kids who fall madly in love with each other. Both of them are not very popular due to their short tempers. They decide to run away together. Suzy's family and Sam's Scout leader try their very best to find them but the two kids are too clever (and violent) to be captured.
Moonrise Kingdom is not only one of the sweetest love stories I've ever seen on film, it is also an amazing adventure story. Sam is an excellent scout and sets up a tent for the two of them and cooks self-caught fish for Suzy and her cat.
It wouldn't be a Wes Anderson movie without fantastic style. All the costumes are really great but my favorite is Suzy's run-away outfit. Instead of thinking practically, she wears a pink lace dress with a while collar, white knee high socks and her Sunday school shoes. Too adorable!
This film is absolutely perfect. Watch it, it'll warm your heart.

Have you guys seen any great films lately?
