Turning 30: Week 9 - Color Magic

Hey Everyone!

I am back with an episode of my Turning 30 adventure. This week I'm talking about something wonderful that I have just learned!

I'm sorry my videos have been a bit all over the place. I'm still figuring things out...basically I'm learning by doing so if you have any questions or suggestions or some advice, feel free to email me or leave them in the comments. Also, who are your favorite Vloggers? I'm on a hunt for some great inspiration. As always, please like and share the video and subscribe to the Take only Memories TV channel on YouTube. Thanks!

Starting next week I'll be posting a video update of my Turning 30 journey every Monday. Stay tuned!

Is anyone here attending the Berlinale? If so, shoot me a tweet. I'd love to meet you there!

*Turning 30 is my year long adventure of fulfilling my dream of starting to make a living as an actress and filmmaker before I turn 30 at the end of 2013.*

  5. Love your energy in your videos :)

Nothing better than not being able to do something, feeling completely in the dark and then researching and learning new things. The internet is an amazing place!

  6. My favorite vloggers? Well, they are all kinda makeup-tutorial thingy so I don't think they focus on the aesthetic of making the video/movie itself, but I'll think of someone that worth sharing (most are actually kinda long ramblings with poorly edited scenes, etc. so I just jump to the part that I wanted to watch). I think your video format is really the nicest that I've came across, very professionally done. You have your own theme music, intro title, also I love the pop up "comments," very thought-out content, etc. I can't wait to see your Berlinale Vlog! Berlinale is a bit of a mystery to me, so I'm hoping that you may do an in-depth coverage. Awesome job, Vanessa!

  9. So, will you be interviewing actresses/actors at Berlinale? Or perhaps you will walk down the red carpet yourself? hmmm.. I really can't wait!

  10. I'm working at the festival (morning til night) so I have very little time. Especially to do interviews :( Maybe next year! But there is always a lot of walking down the red carpet involved! Fun!!

  11. Isn't it extraordinary, as you say, what we can all learn via the internet these days. What was the guy's amazing name: Denver Riddle? Have I remembered it right? You have such a lovely, natural style of presenting and speaking to camera.

  12. Berlin Film Festival?! That sounds like so much fun :-) I've learned so much about editing photos and such from You Tube...it's truly unbelievable. Years back my mom took/paid for classes (she's a graphic designer) to basically do the same thing. My how times have changed! Ps...you always look so fresh and pretty in your videos.
